How do I obtain a visa?
If you are an international traveller you must have a valid passport and visa (with the exception of some New Zealand passport holders) before travelling to Australia.
It is advised that all travellers should apply for their Australian visa well in advance of their expected departure date. For more information please refer to the visa information section on our website.
Who should I expect to see presenting at the congress?
The program consists of more than 100 speakers – targeting world leaders in business and finance.
WCOA 2018 is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear from leaders in finance, public policy, accounting and business management. More than 100 speakers will cover dozens of topics from embracing new technologies like artificial intelligence, innovation like cryptocurrencies, attracting new talent, capitalising on globalisation, sustainability and the environment.
English is not my first language
The Congress offers interpretation services for select languages. If you require translation, please advise your preferred language when you register.
Where is the congress being held?

How do I use public transport?
Sydney offers easy travel on trains, buses, ferries and light rail. The best way to pay your fares is via the Opal card, a smart card which allows you to load funds for any kind of public transport (like London’s Oyster card).
Opal cards can be purchased online, at an Opal retailer, at selected transport customer service centres and shops, at selected Service NSW locations or by calling 13 67 25 (13 OPAL).

What will the weather be like in Sydney?
November is the beginning of summer in Sydney. The weather will be warm. The average day temperature is approximately 20°C, with regular peaks of 25°C and occasional peaks of up to 30°C. Getting from the airport to WCOA
There are three main ways you can get to Sydney from the airport. You can hire a car, take a train or take a taxi.
Hire a car
The drive from Sydney Airport to the city centre can take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Train - Airport link
The Airport Link is a convenient way to reach the inner city of Sydney. Trains run approximately every 10 minutes and the trip is approximately 13 minutes. The cost of a one way adult ticket is AU$17.90.
There are a range of taxis you can order from the airport. Alternatively you can hail a taxi at the ranks outside Terminals 1, 2 and 3. A trip from the Airport to the city centre will cost approximately AU$50.
